As per the latest updates, Indian auto market is going to witness many new cars in the upcoming months. Due to hike in petrol prices, it has been speculated that a wide range of diesel cars will be launched on Indian shores. Recent launch of Toyota Etios Liva on 27 June was the biggest success and launch of more cars ranging from hatchback to SUVs is on cards. The list of most awaited cars that are expected to be launched in July 2011 include Force One, Chevrolet Beat diesel and new Ford Fiesta. Ford India’s new Ford Fiesta is the most awaited sedan car expected to be launched in July, this year.
This sedan car is expected to become a benchmark in the history of sedan cars due to its overwhelming features such as cruice control, semi-automatic climate control, voice-activated control, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity and USB ports for iPods. Sources have unveiled that Ford Fiesta will hit Indian roads in both of its diesel and petrol variants giving a mileage of 23.5 Kmpl and 17 Kmpl respectively.
Ford Fiesta is expected to give direct threat to the already established players such as Volkswagen Vento, Honda City, etc. Another upcoming car which is in lime light these days is Chevrolet Beat diesel, expected to be launched on Indian shores by this July. Relevant sources have speculated that this small car will mark the beginning of a new era in the hatchback segment as it is the first 3 cylinders diesel version hatchback car to ponder in this segment.
Chevrolet Beat diesel is expected to sport a 1,248cc multijet engine giving an excellent mileage of 24 Kmpl and its price tag is anticipated to range between 3-5 Lakh. Chevrolet Beat diesel is expected to heat up the hatchback segment giving competition to other small cars such as Ford Figo, Hyundai i20, Skoda Fabia, etc.
Most awaited SUV, Force One is also expected to make its debut this July.
This SUV has created buzz in the Indian auto market as it is the first passenger car developed by Force Motors which is a known giant for manufacturing fast commercial vehicles. Force Motors India is all set to launch this car in July as is evident from the updates that Force One was spotted in Pune taking test drives, this SUV sported the new logo of Force Motors for the passenger cars.
