As Samsung is about to unveil the U.S. versions of smartphones S Galaxy II, the company will also introduce three new mobile phones that are powered by Samsung’s Bada OS 2.0. The Samsung Wave 3 is considered the most upscale of the three, with respectable specifications, including a mail service similar to multi-platform new BlackBerry Messenger (called Social Hub) and some ability to NFC. It has a 4 inch screen Super AMOLED, a 1.4GHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, VGA front camera for video chatting, and Kitten Music Hub.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Wave M is marketed as a mid-range smartphone. Specs include a 3.65 inch screen HVGA 320 x 480 pixels, a 832MHz processor, NFC capabilities, Social Hub, Kitten, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and a VGA camera on the front. Finally, the entry-level Samsung Wave Y has basic specs like a 3.2-inch screen HVGA, 2 megapixel camera with rear-facing LED flash, and Kitten.

We have not heard from Samsung when these three Bada-powered smartphones will be available in the U.S. market.
