The Luxury car segment is being ruled by the German automobile companies such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz etc. with most of the luxury cars released this year. The Mercedes SLK price is starting at Rs. 61.9 lakh as per an Ex-Showroom in Delhi, the New SLK 350 will be retailed through Mercedes-Benz Dealerships across the India.
Talking about the Mercedes SLK specifications, it is powered by a 3.6 liter V6 engine which can return a maximum power of 306 Bhp. This car will be blessed with 7G- Tronic transmission and to peak up the excitement a panoramic vario-roof with Magic Sky Control for the first time ever has been featured in cars of this segment which was never ever done before by any of the competitors of the Mercedes-Benz. Mr. Debashis Mitra who is Director of Sales and Marketing in Mercedes Benz India stated in the press release that New SLK 350 is going to be a renaissance for the Mercedes-Benz which will carry sophistication followed with latest design and advance technology and the touch of powerful innovative features and state of the art technology this car will prove to be a life time experience for the driver as well as the on looker.
Mercedes-Benz SLK is entering the segment of compact cars and the have initiated to work for an unveil of its compact model car range towards the end of 2012 in India. Luxury car maker, Mercedes-Benz is coming out of the cocoon with a variety of models of compact cars.Mercedes Benz India is planning to enforce their completely knocked down (CKD) units to India by the year of 2012 or 2013 to get a better in house assembling unit as the lack the compact class facility at their Chakan plant near Pune.
